I didn't start out intending to become a counselor, but some surprises in my college experiences drew me to this kind of work. I am invested in helping my clients grow and heal - including working through past trauma and difficulties related to mood, anxiety, anger, etc. - and I approach this by working with clients in a grounded, relational way. I also focus on what has led a client to this moment in his/her/their life and work to change the narrative so that the client can make healthier choices that align more with what the client desires for life. Ultimately, my hope is to make it clear that you are not alone in your fight to become healthier and to help you figure out how to make your goals a reality.
