Introduction

If you're looking for a safe, affirming, and empowering space to explore your emotions and identities, I'm here to help. My mission is to help you accept yourself exactly as you are while also giving you the coping skills you need to build a more meaningful life. I specialize in helping young adults explore their identities, navigate complicated relationships, regulate their emotions, and cope with the pressures of work and school. I'm especially passionate about working with chronically ill clients and LGBTQ+ clients. I'm a member of Blue Spruce Counseling, an empowering, strengths-based mental health collective in Lawrence, Kansas. We believe in the power of evidence-based treatment to help you thrive. We practice from a social justice lens, meaning that we prioritize understanding and addressing the systemic barriers that impact your mental health and well-being. If you think we might be a good fit for you, please reach out via phone or email to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. This is our chance to get to know each other before you commit to therapy. I’ll ask you about yourself, what brings you here, and what you’re looking for in a therapist. Then you’ll have some time to ask me anything.
