Abby's recovery journey restored her to health and gave her a new purpose in life: to inspire hope and help others thrive. In 2015, she began working as a recovery advocate, speaking for those who were not yet ready to speak for themselves. She earned her CPSS and worked as a recovery coach while completing her master's degree in social work from the University of South Carolina. She is now a licensed independent social worker in clinical practice in South Carolina and a certified master addiction counselor. She is passionate about using EMDR to help people heal from trauma. In 2023, she completed her EMDR basic training and is now working towards becoming a Certified EMDR Therapist through the EMDR International Institute. Abby is dedicated to helping people who feel lost, are struggling with their relationship to alcohol or other substances, or want to improve their mental health. She provides them with the tools they need to live an empowered life through engagement, education, and mind-body-spirit connection. She works with individuals and families to provide support, accountability, and empowerment so they can find purpose and peace. As the founder of Two Wolves Collaborative, Abby guides others toward recovery by providing strengths-based support and partnership to create an individualized mosaic of recovery.
