Introduction

Abigail is a humanistic, person-centered therapist and believes that therapy is a collaborative partnership. She incorporates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and narrative therapy into her work. She is trained in EMDR therapy, which she uses to heal trauma and address negative beliefs. Individual autonomy is important to Abbie and she makes every effort to commit to this ideal in every session. She works with an array of clients under the umbrella of general mental health. Abigail serves clients that are 13 years old or older. Abbie received her Bachelor’s from Iowa State and her Master’s in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling from NYU.
