I have worked with youth, adults, families, and couples from diverse backgrounds including BIPOC, LGBTQIA, neuro-diverse, and various cultural and religious communities. I believe everyone deserves to feel love, joy, and safety. Current and past experiences and environments can change the way we see ourselves and the world. Our human responses to trauma, oppression, and unfortunate circumstances may manifest as anxiety, depression, and many other mental health symptoms. I prefer to look beyond the symptoms to see the entire story and person. I believe we all possess the strength to modify our story, but figuring out how and doing it alone can feel exhausting. I hope to collaborate with my clients using narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, EMDR, art, and other creative methods to craft an effective treatment plan that explores a life without the problems causing distress. My passion for this work continues to be inspired by the resiliency and strength that people embody when sharing their story, and I am eager for the opportunity to listen and learn from my clients. I hope to foster genuine connections and support systems. We weren't designed to take on the world alone, and I feel grateful for the chance to stand beside you.
