Hello! It's great to meet you. Congratulations on acting upon the desire to be free from the prison of Self and Substance. As a drug addict in recovery, I understand the importance of treating the whole person, including the mind, body, and spirit. I also understand the insanity and continual mental obsession of a newly sober individual. My treatment discipline is based upon a harm reduction model focusing on helping the active addict to find help, hope and happiness while learning to treat the disease of Addiction with evidence based therapies. Emphasis is placed upon helping the brain to heal and produce dopamine and serotonin naturally on its own again. Also focus is put on rebuilding our social networks and relationships that have been fractured or broken by our diseases. A newly sober individual needs as much support and assistance that can be given but inversely the evil of addiction will most often isolate a person from their loved ones causing loss of worth and faith. Addiction is a diseases of the heart and soul. I wish to help as many heal as possible.
