Hello! I am a drama therapist and verbal psychotherapist in New York City. I use creative and embodied methods primarily with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced traumatic events, as well as with members of the LGBTQIA+ community and their family members. I started my career as a performer and theatre artist, and I remain powerfully connected to the ways that art, character, movement, and music can be utilized to help us better understand ourselves and make changes in our lives. I have a PhD in Social Welfare and teach at the graduate level about using the arts and spirituality in clinical practice and research. I'm an out queer therapist, and a bit of a gamer/geek, and have been working with groups of younger people to do some psychotherapeutic gaming, which you can read about on my website. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to connect. Thanks!
