Introduction

*I have no night time or weekend appointments available at this time, I only have weekday daytime appointments* I graduated from Wheelock College (now part of Boston University) in 2006 with a Masters in Social Work (MSW), and immediately went to work in Lawrence, MA helping clients in underprivileged communities get the help they deserved. I worked with clients of varying ages and wide varying diagnoses.  I earned my Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) designation in 2009.  Beginning in 2010, I began working with clients addicted to drugs and/or alcohol and treated clients at two of the largest substance abuse centers in the state, helping me to gain a deep understanding of drug/alcohol addiction and how to treat it.  Since 2018 I have had my own counseling practice to help adult clients with addiction, depression, anxiety, adult ADHD, and PTSD, as well as parents of those with addiction issues.  I am currently only seeing clients who are at least the age of 18. In 2012, I had the pleasure of assisting with the creation of the DSM V (the diagnosing manual that sits in every counselor, doctor, psychiatrist, lawyer, and many other professionals' offices).  I am cited in the book for my contributions.   Life can get difficult, and sometimes a little help from a professional Psychotherapist can make things better. I care about your well-being and provide you all the tools you need in order to seize the day and learn how to tackle even the most traumatic circumstances.
