Introduction

“My goal is to learn about you, not to ‘fix’ you. I have personally experienced trauma, addiction, anxiety, and depression; and I know how frustrating it can feel to be judged and ‘treated’ rather than heard and understood. I know what it’s like to not feel safe to share your true self with a provider. Please know that I will do everything I can to make sure that you don’t feel that way. I will always work to listen and learn your unique experience and work with you at your pace to address anything you decide is worth taking time to better understand. I know what it’s like to have to ask for help, and I promise to do what I can to make it as positive an experience as possible. I also know that change is possible even when it feels impossible. People helped me to change and improve my life, I believe I can help you too. ” My specialties include Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Substance Abuse, LGBTQ and Transgender/Non-binary care. I utilize CBT, DBT, EMDR and Interpersonal psychotherapy.
