~ lim·i·nal ~ "The uncertain transition between where you've been and where you're going" (verywellmind.com). Hey, I'm Addy! I'm a licensed therapist, trained EMDR therapist, certified yoga teacher, and (most importantly) a human who deeply gets how weird and hard your 20s can be. If you’re here, you’re probably exhausted — from pretending you're fine, from overthinking every text, from doing all the “right” things but still feeling behind, stuck, or like you're low-key failing at adulthood. Whether you're in college, grad school, or just trying to function as a human with bills and feelings… I see you. This stage of life is basically a blender of identity crises, relationship drama, career pressure, family expectations, and mental health stuff no one taught you how to handle. Maybe you're constantly anxious, beating yourself up over past mistakes, or wondering why your brain won’t give you a break even on weekends. Maybe you're asking deeper questions — like "who even am I" and "why does life feel this heavy when I’m supposed to be figuring things out?" Here's where I come in. In therapy with me, you get a space where you don’t have to filter, apologize, or over-explain yourself. We’ll sort through the noise, figure out what’s actually going on beneath the surface, and start building some real tools for self-trust, emotional regulation, and healing. I use a mix of evidence-based approaches like DBT and ACT (aka: useful skills that actually work), as well as EMDR for deeper stuff like trauma, past experiences that won’t let go, and the anxiety loops you can’t logic your way out of. And if you're worried this will be awkward or overly clinical — I'm not here to “fix” you. I'm here to walk alongside you with curiosity and compassion — not as someone with all the answers, but as someone who’s here to help you uncover your own. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and finding the right fit matters. I offer a free 15-minute discovery call where we can talk through your questions, your hopes for therapy, and see if we’re a good match — no pressure, no commitment, just a conversation. You can schedule that call by calling or emailing me. Whenever you're ready, I'm here.
