Introduction

Hello, I'm Adelaide! I am a neurodivergent queer woman and I like to focus on the stories that we tell about ourselves and our relationships as well as the stories other people and institutions tell about us. Therapy with me looks like untangling the messy web of societal expectations that the world pushes on you and empowering you to be the author of your own story, and taking back control of your life and your identity in light of what makes you uniquely you. With couples, I also use emotionally focused therapy (EFT) techniques to create healing interactions between you and your partner right there in session. I work with teens, young adults, families and couples who are facing issues pertaining to gender identity, autism, and/or relationship distress. Perhaps you’re questioning your own gender or sexuality. Perhaps this questioning has caused distress in your relationships, or perhaps someone close to you has come out to you, and you’re not quite sure what to do. Regardless of where you are at, I will meet you there and I look forward to helping you map out the next steps to take towards your peace and authentic living. If you’d like to see if we’d be a good fit, you can schedule a free 10 minute video consultation with me, and I look forward to meeting you! When not in sessions, I love spending time in nature, going to metal concerts, practicing Brazilian jiu jitsu, playing Dungeons and Dragons, spending time with friends, and hanging out with my cat, Small Cat.
