Adia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a decade of experience in healthcare and mental healthcare. Adia has worked as a medical social worker at two Level 1 trauma centers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She has also worked in substance abuse and mental health allowing her to make a significant impact on the diverse populations with whom she has worked. Adia completed her Bachelor of Social Work in 2013 and completed her Master of Social in 2014 at the University of Texas at Arlington. She earned her clinical license in 2021 at which time she decided to pursue her passion of providing compassionate care to those struggling with mental health full-time. Adia’s mission is to destigmatize mental health and create a safe space for her clients. She specializes in providing treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, stress and adjustment disorders. She is trained in EMDR Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) which helps you reprocess maladaptive ways of thinking, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which helps you reframe negative thoughts and behaviors to positive ones. Adia’s approach allows for therapy to feel open and manageable for her clients. Adia understands the importance of feeling heard and have a safe space to do so.
