Introduction

My approach integrates neurobiology, culturally sensitive and trauma-informed, using evidence-based modalities like CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), attachment-focused therapy, and polyvagal theory to help clients heal from depression, anxiety, grief, & relational trauma. We’ll explore how the brain and nervous system respond to stress, building resilience and thriving through life transitions. I am committed to supporting your mental well-being in a way that aligns with your values and honors your identity, helping you cultivate healthy relationships, improve communication, and navigate life with authenticity and confidence. I am here to support you through life’s challenges, celebrate your successes, and help you build self-trust. Your Path to Healing These are the basic steps to get there: 1. Self-Awareness: We’ll enhance your self-awareness by examining how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are shaped by the nervous system and the impact of cultural experiences on mental health. 2. Coping Skills: I’ll equip you with tools to interrupt your nervous system’s perceived threat signals, regulate your nervous system, and develop safety skills to navigate life’s challenges. 3. Cognitive Growth: After building self-awareness and understanding how early experiences have shaped your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, we'll practice mindfulness and balanced thinking, to develop resilience and the tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and control. ~*My Availability*~ Telehealth Therapy sessions are available Monday-Thursday 9:30 AM-6:30 PM
