Listen, I was in my early 20's when I decided I needed to write a memoir titled "I Got Issues" to tell the world how I felt about things. So please trust, I understand the struggle! My journey into the field of mental health began once I became clear on my path to self discovery. Many moons later, after obtaining my Master of Arts at Wake Forest University in Counseling in 2017, I committed to the cause of helping people just like you discover themselves again. I recognize the importance of being a mirror, guide and soundboard to those kindred spirits who just want to understand life and yearn to feel understood. With demands coming from every direction: work, children, and the high standards we place on ourselves, it's crucial to have a safe space to reset, release, and redefine what's most important. Experienced in both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services, backed by resources, I bring an eclectic, mindfulness-based approach with practical evidence-based treatment for brief and long-term therapy. I employ a holistic-driven person-centered treatment plan to resolve your general mental health issues. If you love the arts, then I'm open to helping you transform any of your personal "drama" into an expressive work of art! I'm a mom, an owner of the most human fur-balls you'll ever meet and I do believe in my dreams. Most of all I want you to believe in yours!
