Introduction

I am a Mental Health Counselor/Psychotherapist who is interested in serving my local community. I utilize a person-centered, bioecosystemic framework to serve individuals, families, couples, and pediatrics. I have experience treating eating disorders, sexual abuse survivors, domestic violence survivors, systemic oppression survivors, adjustment disorder, ADD/ADHD, Autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, trauma, personality disorders, chronic pain & chronic illness, and marital dysfunction. I have done research with and/or studied religious groups and military families. I am a graduate of NYU with a Master's in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling. We utilize 60-minute sessions, or 30-60-minute sessions with children, to serve our clients. I currently utilize CBT, DBT, humanistic talk therapy, psychoeducation, and play therapy to treat my clients. I would gladly respond to any questions about our services at: Richardson.PlayTherapy@gmail.com.
