English: Dr. Aileen Torres is a licensed clinical psychologist (New Jersey and Puerto Rico) who specializes in psychological assessments, mainly for immigration purposes and child abuse related cases. The majority of the evaluations are for extreme hardship cases but some are for torture, VAWA, or asylum cases. Dr. Torres is a core faculty member of the Clinical Psychology PsyD program at William Paterson University. She was the Associate Director of Clinical Services and the Internship Director at Youth Consultation Services (YCS) outpatient clinics. Her clinical and research interests include multicultural competency, bilingual assessment, sexual abuse, trauma and other clinical issues specific to Latino families in the United States. Dr. Torres is a member of the American Psychological Association, Minority Fellowship Program, Training Advisory Committee. Additionally, she is an endorsed Level IV Clinical Mentor by the New Jersey Association for Infant Mental Health (NJ-AIMH). Español La Dra.
