Introduction

I particularly enjoy working with individuals who have struggled with, or are resistant to traditional therapy. Navigating life's challenges can feel overwhelming, and for many, it can be difficult to express these feelings using only words. Instead, we see changes in behavior which are often concerning for loved ones, and confusing for the individual. When working with clients, I frequently incorporate experiential activities to support them as they process experiences, discover individual strengths, and develop new skills to move through life with confidence. As a dually licensed social worker and recreation therapist, my work frequently incorporates experiential components. My areas of specialty include trauma, behavioral issues, and anxiety. I love my work, and approach each session with warmth and curiosity. My style is laid-back and compassionate, and I use humor as part of the therapeutic process.
