Introduction

I am Aisha and it's an honor to have you here. Having navigated my own lived experiences, I bring a unique perspective to the space. Life transitions, whether positive or challenging, can impact our mental well-being. As a therapist, I am dedicated to guiding you through these transformative human experiences, fostering a path towards a healthier, happier, and more wholesome version of yourself. Let's embark on this journey together. My specialty is in trauma-responsive support with training from Harvard, World Health Organization (WHO) and John Hopkins University. I am an active member of the American Psychological Association and the American Counseling Association with licensure in Texas (LPC) and Maryland (LCPC). I have supported clients from all cultures and backgrounds globally and served as a mental consultant for the United Nations migration agency overseas. My experience includes working with forcibly displaced people, trauma and torture survivors, veterans, and trafficked persons among other populations.
