Aiysha is passionate about mental health and is committed to educating, empowering and supporting her clients in their quest to gain mental wellness. Her professional, educational and training experience has afforded her the opportunity to work with people from diverse populations. After several years of providing groups, individual, and couples therapy at a non-profit organization she made the decision to transition her expertise into the private practice sector. She believes that through building a strong therapeutic alliance and being present for those she serves, she creates an optimal environment for change, growth and healing. She received her Master's in Community Counseling in 2012 and is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in Maryland and DC.
