Alanna has also completed advanced trainings in eating disorders focused on embodied/somatic interventions, exposure, body image, and art therapy in eating disorder treatment. Prior to joining the Sage House team, Alanna worked as a Clinical Program Director for a local residential eating disorder treatment center. Alanna received her BA in Studio Art from The University of Mary Washington and her M.A in Art Therapy and Mental Health Counseling from The George Washington University. Following graduation, Alanna worked in a variety of acute care and outpatient settings in the treatment of eating disorders, crisis psychiatric care, trauma, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders.
