Dr. Davila is a licensed psychologist with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Boston College. He completed his predoctoral clinical training in the child/adolescent & adult outpatient psychiatric departments at CHA/Harvard Medical School and his postdoctoral clinical training at the Center for Anxiety in Boston, MA. His clinical practice focuses on providing patient-centered psychotherapy with a comprehensive approach that integrates psychodynamic, relational, attachment, and third-wave cognitive-behavioral principles. His relational approach is a cornerstone of his practice. He ensures that his patients receive compassionate care in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. By fostering a strong therapeutic alliance, he collaborates to explore underlying factors contributing to his patient's mental health challenges, develop effective strategies for managing symptoms, and empower them to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. Outside of work, Alek enjoys playing tennis, spending time with family, and trying new restaurants.
