Alessa is a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A), licensed in Texas and supervised by Arthur Freyre. Alessa has extensive experience working with people of various backgrounds, ethnicities, and sexual orientations. Her special interests include but are not limited to working with individuals and couples who have experienced trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, trust issues, abandonment issues, and attachment issues. Whether she is working with individuals or couples, Alessa believes in approaching each client from a holistic perspective and pulls from various therapeutic modalities to provide personalized mental health care. Alessa first became interested in becoming a therapist after gaining some understanding of how powerful interactions are and how much individuals influence each other.
