Introduction

Hello, I'm Alex! I'm a a southern-raised, millennial, queer woman and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Following years of experience in performance, dance, yoga, and mindfulness, I’m passionate about utilizing somatic, attachment, and trauma-informed approaches including narrative therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. My aim is to help you deepen your emotional and somatic connections in the hopes of fostering greater self-awareness, confidence, pleasure, and secure relationships whether you are seeking services as an individual, couple, polycule, or family. In session, this will look like slowing down, tuning into your emotional and physiological sensations, exploring important relationships, highlighting what's already working, and gently challenging any current strategies that may not be aligned with your personal values. During our time together, you can expect empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard throughout our work. I am passionate about serving clients who may find themselves in systemically de-centered communities, including LGBTQIA+ folx, women, and artists, creatives, and performers.
