Child/Adolescent Therapist ALB Therapy LCSW, PLLC
Specialties: Child or Adolescent, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, ADD/ADHD

Introduction

Hi, I'm Alexandra Bennett and I'm a therapist in New York City, working with children, adolescents and young adults. I utilize a cognitive behavioral approach to assist clients in recognizing and adapting thought patterns to facilitate change and for younger clients, I incorporate play-based approaches. I create a warm, trusting environment for clients to feel both supported and challenged in sessions. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD. I am trained in SPACE treatment, to assist parents in navigating their child's anxiety or OCD. In addition to my work in private practice, I am the lower school counselor at a NYC school, working with children with language-based learning disabilities. I would be happy to schedule a free 10-15 minute phone consultation to see if it might be a good fit to work together.
