Introduction

Do you feel as though you are seen and understood in relationships? Maybe you struggle to find affirmation in your needs and desires. Or have you at times felt like you are "too much" or "not enough"? You are not alone. Many of us struggle to feel "normal" in a world that pathologizes who we are and how we function. This experience can leave us feeling disempowered and disconnected. It can prevent us from accessing the fullness of our wisdom. Through mindfulness and somatic attunement, I will support you in strengthening the connections between your heart, mind and body so you can feel more grounded, regulated, resilient, and free. I provide therapy for adults and adolescents. I am a relational trauma-therapist who operates from somatic, feminist, attachment-focused and existential perspectives. Typical concerns of my clients include managing the effects of trauma and shame, relationship issues, body image, identity exploration, and grief and loss. As a fat, queer, Latinx + white person, I have experience living in the intersections. As a therapist, I work to center your lived experience. I'm committed to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, including those who are non-binary, gender diverse, and individuals exploring their sexuality and/or identities. I have experience working with folks in non-traditional relationships and take an affirming stance on sex work. I recognize all forms of oppression to be inseparable from experiences of mental health. You are the expert on your own life and already hold all the wisdom you need to be healed and whole. My passion is to support you in connecting with and coming into greater alignment with your authentic, intuitive self - to become more fully you! Together we can build the skills you may need to better inhabit your body, experience pleasure & joy, and take up space in your life & relationships.
