I provide individual therapy to adults navigating a range of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. I typically work with individuals who identify as a mom, are pregnant, or are partners of mothers as I have specialized training in perinatal mental health and well-being, among other areas of clinical and health psychology. I also have expertise in supporting healthcare providers in building resilience and improving their well-being. I utilize evidenced based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) to support clients in making meaningful changes in their lives. I also have specialized training in CBT-Chronic pain, CBT-Insomnia, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Authentic Connections, which is an evidenced based group therapy for supporting maternal well-being. I tailor my approach to the needs of each client and work collaboratively with clients to develop treatment plans that highlight each individual’s unique goals. I regularly use “homework” outside of therapy for clients to practice new skills and make progress on their goals. I frequently check in on progress as goals may evolve throughout therapy. All sessions will be held virtually through Simple Practice. If you have any questions regarding my therapeutic philosophy and treatment approach, I am happy to provide you with additional information.
