Introduction

I’m so glad you’re here, taking a brave step towards nurturing your wellbeing and embracing personal growth. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC), holding a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I feel deeply honored to accompany you on this transformative journey. My practice is passionately focused on supporting Black women and minority groups. I am attuned to the complexities of intersectionality and how various aspects of identity impact mental health and wellbeing. This awareness is central to my work, ensuring that therapy is not only inclusive but also affirmatively supportive of all identities and experiences. Therapy, in my eyes, is a beautifully collaborative path that thrives on a meaningful connection between you and me. I blend a variety of evidence-based practices—including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy—to craft a supportive, culturally-competent environment tailored just for you. My approach is all about warmth, compassion, and empathy, helping you tap into your own rich, inner resources to foster change and growth. In our sessions, you’ll find a warm, safe space to be your true self, explore your thoughts and feelings, and tackle the challenges that come with change. I understand the mix of unease and liberation that accompanies the therapeutic journey and am here to support you every step of the way. Together, we’ll engage in meaningful work both during our sessions and beyond, empowering you to reach your goals and enrich your life. Are you ready to take the next step? I’m here to guide and support you as you move forward. Let’s embark on this journey together.
