I appreciate you have taken the very brave step of seeking additional support for yourself, child, family, friend or spouse. It is not an easy decision to make but everyone has the right to live a life that they deserve. Since 2017, I have worked at a mental health hospital on an Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Anxiety unit for adults. I am familiar with Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), crisis intervention and mindfulness techniques. Although I am experienced in those treatment modalities, I do have an eclectic style with the way I practice. There definitely is no “one size fits all” treatment when it comes to therapy, but I could help find the perfect fit for you! I graduated with my Master’s in Social Work with an emphasis in addictions/mental health from UW-Whitewater. I have worked in residential, inpatient and outpatient settings. I approach therapy with an open and nonjudgmental stance. Building rapport and possessing a strengths-based mindset in order to foster a therapeutic alliance between myself and my clients is something I look forward to starting with you. My passion is people and as your therapist I am committed to guiding, empowering and assisting you in gaining perspective and insight in what may be challenging you in your life. You are the expert of your own life, so I want our time to be as collaborative as possible. Whether it is trauma, anxiety, a mood disorder, OCD, struggling with confidence or problems in school or at work, if you want to learn coping skills or wish to improve relationships with others, I am here for you, every step of the way. Please feel free to email or call me for a consultation. You are not alone; we are in this together
