Introduction

Hi, My name is Ali Lucas, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Associate with Hope and Resilience Trauma Therapy, PLLC, based in Houston, Texas. I offer both virtual and in person sessions in the Montrose area. I employ a compassionate and open therapeutic approach that prioritizes curiosity towards your experiences. My firm belief is that people are inherently good, and part of the therapeutic process is uncovering that which keeps us from knowing our dignity. My training as an LMFT-A is based in a systemic lens, and I recognize that persons are impacted by the contexts and relationships of their lives. My hope is to walk with you in bringing restoration to your relationships with both with those around you and with yourself. To share a little bit about me, I attended Texas A&M University where I first encountered therapeutic work and felt the tug to enter this field. While pursing a Master's in Theology at the University of Notre Dame and working in youth and young adult ministry, a door opened towards relational work. Finally, I completed a degree in Family Therapy at the University of Houston - Clear Lake, and have experience working in foster care and school settings. Please be encouraged to reach out if we could be a good fit, and I look forward to learning if I can support and empower you on your journey to wholeness. Kindly, Ali
