As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I work predominately with Adults 20+ who suffer from depression, anxiety, and other mental/behavioral health challenges such as low self-esteem, self-harm, emotional dysregulation, lack of mastery, low tolerance, suicidal ideation, and negative thinking patterns. I help clients identify their life worth living goals and move towards making changes, while also building a therapeutic relationship using empathy, collaboration, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness. Much of my experience as a therapist has been focused on helping individuals who have experienced traumatic, confusing, or stressful life events, and I incorporate CBT and DBT to improve outcomes and aid in skill building. I see clients individually, offer DBT skills tutoring, and run a processing group for those who want support in a group setting.
