I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing individual psychotherapy for high functioning, motivated adults. My mission is to create a supportive, safe and non-judgmental environment for clients to explore, understand, and resolve issues. As someone who has been on both sides of the therapy "couch" I have a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to be vulnerable. My style is interactive, warm, and strengths based. Our work together will feel like an ongoing conversation with thought-provoking questions and unbiased feedback to help you gain greater self-understanding. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient mental health clinics and top US hospitals. My post graduate training is vast with concentration in the areas of anxiety, depression, eating disorders, addictions, compulsions, chronic illness, grief and trauma. In addition to being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am also a Critical Incident Stress Debriefer, Certified Grief Counseling Specialist, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Additionally, my background as a Division I Collegiate Track & Field athlete has made me particularly interested in the relationship between our minds and bodies. I truly enjoy sharing the wealth of knowledge and skills I have learned from coaches, trainers and nutrition experts over the past 20+ years to help individuals optimize their health and fitness goals.
