As a Black woman, educator-turned-therapist, and survivor, I believe deeply in the power of reclaiming your story. I’ve walked through the pain of trauma—including childhood sexual assault, self-harm, and suicidal ideation—and now hold space for others to do the same with care, dignity, and authenticity. My practice is grounded in collaboration. I don’t see people as problems to fix—I see people as powerful, capable, and deserving of healing. I work best with young men and women navigating mood disorders who often feel misunderstood, dismissed, or unheard. My goal is to offer them a space where they can feel seen, have a voice, and start healing on their own terms. With roots in narrative and solution-focused therapy, and a touch of DBT, I use humor, honesty, and cultural relevance to connect. My faith in God shapes who I am, and when welcomed, it can be part of the journey we walk together. If you or your teen are searching for a therapist who’s been there, who gets it, and who offers more than just a safe space—someone who offers an empowering space—let’s connect.
