WHAT CLIENTS DO YOU FOCUS ON? - Anyone ages 16 and up. WHAT ARE SOME OF THE CHALLENGES USUALLY BROUGHT UP BY CLIENTS? - It varies. Some of the challenges relate to life transition, limiting beliefs, people-pleasing, interpersonal/relationship issues, work-life balance, past and/or current trauma, abuse, and many others. Some clients present with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and some have not felt any feelings for a long time and want to overcome that. WHAT IS SOMATIC WORK OR SOMATIC EXPERIENCING? - Somatic experiencing is an approach to help people who have experienced trauma, stress and many other physical and mental health conditions. Instead of just talking about it, this therapy pays attention to how the body reacts to significant events. It helps individuals notice their physical sensations and feelings in a different way. By doing this, they can build a stronger connection with their inner strengths. It’s like a natural and scientific way to heal from difficult experiences and become emotionally stronger.
