Introduction

My path as a psychotherapist emerged through my own inner work with PTSD and life's varied challenges for growth as a Third Culture Taiwanese-Chinese American immigrant, thriving with Traumatic Brain Injury, and having worked and lived in the US, Taiwan, and UK. You're likely here taking steps to care for wounded parts and/or to shift out of old patterns that no longer serve you. Realizations can be instantaneous. However, sustained transformations occur with consistent dedicated effort and a safe, supportive environment to reflect, process vulnerabilities, and practice realized changes. Clients come to me from a variety of backgrounds and needs. I see adults and teens, individuals, couples, and groups coping with issues of identity, anxiety, chaos, overwhelm, depression, loss and grief, self esteem, communications, and psychedelics assisted psychotherapy and education. I help clients navigate through life transitions and integrations, be it growth through adversity, (re)claiming identity, redefining one's life path after a life altering event, bereavement, psychedelic and out of ordinary integrations, realignment of a purposeful career change, or a desire to explore vulnerability, authenticity, establishing and rebuilding meaningful bonds in relationships with oneself and others. I hold a steady pace for difficult emotions, unexpressed thoughts, desires, needs to be explored with kindness, acceptance, and when needed, reflective challenge in the interest of the clients' therapeutic goals. Through the process of curious exploration, I help clients clarify, bring awareness to their inner wisdom, process and heal wounds, practice supportive communication skills, and be able to move through life with more connection. I take an integrative approach to therapy, incorporating mind, body, health, and spirit, when applicable. My clients like that I provide a safe space, and that I’m not afraid to challenge them when appropriate, as well as embracing levity and camaraderie in our work together. Our work is relational and helps you explore perspectives, find clarity, and discover opportunities for growth. Schedule a consultation call to explore what it might be like to work together, and what would make your life more fulfilling.
