Allie's expertise in and understanding of child development and interpersonal relationships helps her to work effectively with clients of all ages. In addition to providing psychotherapy in private practice, Allie also works as a pediatric oncology social worker, where she provides supportive counseling, psychoeducation and case management to patients, siblings, and caregivers in both the inpatient and outpatient hospital setting. Allie is especially passionate about providing education about and supporting families through the emotional impact of chronic & catastrophic illness. In conjunction with her direct clinical work with patients, Allie designs and facilitates comprehensive wellness staff support groups to employees of all disciplines. She has a special interest and focus in embedding emotional wellness into medical school and residency program curricula, and her work in this emerging field has been presented nationally. Allie also has extensive experience providing intensive tutoring to students of all ages -- specializing in improving executive functioning, frustration tolerance, and coping skills to facilitate and complement academic growth.
