Mission: Minor Inspirations LLC is a private practice striving to inspire minor changes within people for self-improvement, mental stability, and growth within their relationships through therapy, seminars, and consulting services. Services are provided in the Bala Cynwyd area in-person and via telehealth to serve children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, including those of the LGBTQIA culture. Minor Inspirations LLC takes pride in providing quality service while demonstrating empathy, respect, trust, honesty, and ethical practices. Bio: Minor Inspirations LLC was founded by Allisha Minor whose professional experience in working with children, adolescents and adults has provided her with years of experience, since 2004, with various behavior and mental health disorders. Allisha strives to connect with clients to help them understand they are not alone in this process and their issues can be overcome with dedication and trusting the process. Being a person who has overcome many obstacles from childhood and relationships, she knows firsthand how therapy can transform someone into the person they want to be including within themselves and their relationships. So she strives to help her clients see even the minor changes they make can allow for a huge impact on their future self and relationships. As a therapist, Allisha holds confidentiality to its highest regard and promotes safety within the therapy space to ensure all clients are treated with respect and shown empathy based on the disclosure of their experiences. Allisha is a mother and aunt who enjoys working with children and adolescents of all ages alongside their parents as she understands the struggles of parenting and co-parenting through her own experiences. Allisha utilizes various therapy techniques based on the client(s) presenting issues. Allisha has worked with clients who adopted a multiplicity of issues such as: trauma/abuse; depression/anxiety; self-esteem; relationship issues for couples; grief/loss; drug/alcohol abuse; suicidal ideations & behaviors; truancy prevention; sex offenses; co-occurring disorders. Allisha has a BA in Psychological & Social Sciences from Pennsylvania University, a MS in Nonprofit Management & Leadership from Walden University, and an MA in Marriage & Family Therapy from LaSalle University. During her undergraduate studies, Allisha worked alongside one of her sociology professions to complete 2 research studies surrounding social inequality. Outside of conducting therapy sessions, Allisha is a self-published author of “Distractions of the Heart” and enjoys writing poetry revolving around relationships, trauma, and self-worth.
