Counseling to me is a calling. I consider my path to becoming a counselor one that was designed to teach me the reality of pain and empathy, so that I might sit with others facing hardships. My passion has continued to grow and thrive as I’ve worked with clients struggling with addiction, anxiety, co-dependency, trauma, spiritual issues, grief, and relationship issues. I specialize in anxiety and OCD, trauma, boundaries, and grief. Over the course of my career, I have treated those who’ve struggled with trauma and addiction as well as provided support groups and psycho-educational lectures to loved ones. We continue to repeat patterns, actions, and underlying belief systems until we embrace new ways of living that lead us to the life we want. I am passionate about helping people find freedom in healing past wounds, developing new and healthier ways of coping, and learning to see self accurately. I strive to cultivate a safe and open space for everyone. I believe that healing should be a process of mind, body, and spirit. I encourage clients to address all areas of focus. I am uniquely able to integrate biblical values and beliefs into therapy due to my background in Bible and theology when desired by the client.
