I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides therapy to adults in-person and virtually. I have experience helping those with depression, anxiety, career changes, grief, LGBTQ+ issues, and other life transitions. I utilize both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) techniques while keeping an open-minded and non-judgmental perspective. It can be hard for people to get through life’s challenges on their own and they may find themselves needing extra help. I am here to provide that support in times of need. I believe each session should be individualized to meet a client’s specific needs. The therapeutic relationship and environment are crucial for setting a solid foundation for the therapeutic process and I use these foundations to work collaboratively toward each client’s goals. I understand that my life experiences may not be the same as my clients, but I work to approach therapy from each client’s perspective. Therapy can seem overwhelming, but I am here to help ease new clients into therapy and start where they are comfortable. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Illinois. I received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Roosevelt University. I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Missouri State University.
