Alyssa Brown, MA, LPC, NCC, is a mental health practitioner and founder of Modern Mental Health. Through her practice, she provides individual counseling services for children and adolescents. She has obtained a Master of Arts in Counseling from Missouri Baptist University. Subsequently, she has become licensed as a professional counselor through the state of Missouri and credentialed by the National Board of Certified Counselors. Her previous experience includes over 3,000 hours of supervised counseling experience and 3 years working as a K-12 certified school counselor. In addition, she is involved in multiple community service organizations. Alyssa separates herself from other therapists by limiting her overall number of clients, which allows for a highly professional yet attentive approach to therapy for clients and their parents. Her office was specifically designed to uplift and motivate children, filled with modern touches within a warm environment. She places emphasis on education, collaboration, and accountability to clients and their families.
