Working with a wide range of mental health issues and emotional struggles, from depression and anxiety to PTSD and marital problems, requires a multidimensional approach. Addressing each individual's unique challenges with empathy and understanding can help them navigate their journey toward healing and growth. By offering a safe space for individuals to explore their emotional wounds and inner conflicts, I try to guide clients toward self-discovery and resilience. It is essential to acknowledge the intersectionality of mental health issues, recognizing how various factors such as gender, spirituality, and relationships can impact one's well-being. I have obtained a double Master's in Counseling and Christian Education from Dallas Baptist University. I am certified in Prepare/Enrich, Level 2 Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I am currently working on two other certifications involving anger management and the Mental Health Ministry in the Church. I am a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and a member of my church. Enjoy helping the youth at The Landing at the Avenue. I am committed to ongoing professional growth and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements. I regularly attend workshops, conferences, and seminars to enhance my expertise and expand my network of professionals. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, outdoors, working out, watching the latest movies, enjoy chips and salsa.
