Introduction

Hello! Thank you for taking a courageous step toward a journey of growth and self-discovery. As the owner of Awaken & Bloom Counseling, my goal is to create a warm and collaborative space where we can explore all parts of your experience with curiosity. If you are an adult who is navigating a stressful life transition, often feel paralyzed by perfectionism, wanting to deepen and integrate your emotional awareness, and/or motivated to process the impacts that trauma, anxiety, and depression have had on your life, then this is the space for you! As a counselor with 10+ years of performing art experience, my approach is integrative and culturally responsive. Our sessions may include exploring the mind-body connection, harmonizing inner conflicts between thoughts and emotions, focusing on the present with Gestalt techniques. By cultivating mindfulness, exploring a non-judgmental stance, and creating safety with trauma-informed tools, you can build a strong bridge toward authentic connection to Self and your environment. Together, we will harness your strengths to help you achieve your goals, deepen your self-awareness, and enhance your relationships. Amanda is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate; Supervised by: Chaya M. Abrams, Ph.D., LPC, LAC.
