I specialize in assessing and treating eating and weight-related disorders across the lifespan. I have received extensive training in evidence-based treatments, including Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family-Based Treatment (FBT), and am currently working toward advanced certification in FBT through the Institute of Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders. I also have advanced training in comprehensive Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and its application to the treatment of eating disorders. My approach to treatment focuses on fostering open communication and connection in order to create a collaborative therapeutic environment. My ultimate goal is to assist individuals and their families in taking control of their daily life back. I view parents as the experts on their child and family culture and work collaboratively to implement a culturally-responsive treatment plan that addresses each family's unique needs.
