Introduction

Are you a new parent, a not-so-new parent, hoping to become a parent, or struggling with infertility? I am a supportive, empathetic therapist with over 10 years of experience working in the medical and mental health field with adults and adolescents in many different phases and stages of their lives, but found my passion is working with women, people who are on their parenthood journey, and people who are late diagnosed ADHD. I strive to create a comfortable and supportive environment and invite people to come as they are, messy buns, and sweatpants included! I work with a variety of issues related to being a woman, trying to navigate being a new parent or wanting to be a parent, as well as trauma. If you are struggling to be a “perfect” mom, are feeling a loss of identity, struggling with anxiety or depression, “mom rage”, or navigating the often-invisible load women carry, you are in the right place. You are the expert of your own life and I recognize that and hold space for whatever you want to address. In addition to specializing in trauma, working with women, and people on their parenthood journey, I also specialize in working with women who have ADHD, often later age diagnosis. I have advanced training in trauma, ADHD, EMDR, brainspotting, DBT, CBT, and ACT. I am currently working towards adding more of a holisitic and body-based lens to my work as well. As a social worker, I bring a strong background in a strengths-based approach, and I strive to work with an anti-oppression lens. This means carefully examining and scrutinizing my own beliefs and biases, seeking out ongoing education from those with lived experiences much different than my own, and striving my best to validate and understand the experiences being shared with me. It's important to find a good match when looking to work with a therapist, and I look forward to working collaboratively with you to help you make changes in your life, find yourself again, and reach your goals.
