Hi, I am Amanda Gil, I currently possess a limited permit in Mental Health Counseling. My interest in Psychology and Counseling stemmed from my own desire to understand and best treat my mental health. Upon learning what can work for me, I gained an interest in helping others do the same. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship issues, and LGBTQIA+. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness Therapy techniques. I believe in creating a meaningful client/counselor relationship that allows clients to feel comfortable and free to express their thoughts and feelings. By creating a safe environment and a different perspective, clients have been able to see marked improvement after a few weeks.
