I help ambitious women of color overcome self-doubt and perfectionism, prioritize their desires, and recognize their innate brilliance. During my formative years, I had always felt insignificant, unworthy, and undeserving of the space I took up. As a therapist, I want to help fellow women of color who constantly feel like burdens to those around them by allowing them to explore who they are freely in an inclusive therapeutic space. In doing so, I aim to help women of color discover how they deserve happiness. I was raised in a Mexican-American household in Dallas, Texas. I have always valued my heritage and how it shapes my worldview and values. I understand the importance of supporting one’s family (sometimes at the expense of your desires) and how having an interest in therapy might feel like a selfish service to obtain—or even a sign of weakness.
