Amanda Merski is the owner and clinical therapist behind Legacy Healing Services, LLC located in New Port Richey, FL. She serves residents of both Florida (in person and virtual) and Pennsylvania (virtual only). Amanda brings over 15 years of experience working with adults and older adults delivering high quality, patient-centered care. She is experienced in supporting individuals and their loved ones who are managing depression, anxiety, struggles with major life changes (ex: retirement, loss of independence, medical conditions, etc.), relationship issues, and other emotional challenges. Amanda brings a compassionate, trauma informed, individualized approach to the care she delivers through her practice. With years of experience working with older adults (60+), she also brings a robust understanding of aging related challenges, grief and loss, and the struggles related to caregiving for older adults. She has served is a variety of roles within the U.S. government working with Veterans for 8 years, bringing a unique understanding of Veteran specific concerns and needs. Amanda is experienced in a variety of therapeutic approaches (ex: Cognitive Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment, Dialectical Behavior, etc.) and prefers to use an integrative therapeutic approach to tailor her practice to your individual needs.
