Welcome! I'm Amanda Mitchell, DNP, PMHNP-BC, owner & Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for Nautilus Mental Health, located in Wilmington, NC. I have a passion for helping individuals who are struggling to cope with change and life transitions, supporting them in their recovery and growth through a combination of psychiatric medications and supportive psychotherapy. I treat a variety of problems including Depression, Anxiety, & OCD. I am a trauma-informed provider, and I also enjoy working with folks who are neurodivergent. At this time, I am only accepting new patients aged 18+. I look forward to meeting & getting to know you! As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I specialize in helping people manage their mental health through a combination of medication management and psychotherapy. With a direct yet empathetic approach, I offer evidence-based treatment that addresses the mind, body, and emotions to foster healing, resilience, and long-term growth. I understand how challenging it can be to face mental health struggles, especially when feeling overwhelmed by the effects of trauma, anxiety, or other symptoms. You don’t have to go through this alone. Together, we can create a path toward healing and growth. I invite you to reach out and take the first step toward feeling better and finding balance.
