Introduction

I am not accepting new clients at this time. It is natural for a part of us to not want to engage in therapy, and sometimes we have to tune into the part of us that is saying it could be worth trying. Hello, my name is Amanda Petric, and I am a Clinical Social Worker in Ohio, EMDR certified, Telebehavioral health trained, and a Registered Yoga Teacher. I establish a compassionate, patient, and accepting environment where individuals can gain new information, strengthen their coping strategies, and recover at their own pace. I assist individuals with recognizing their strengths, embracing self-compassion, and self-learning in a way that is non-judgmental. I also assist individuals with moving from stuck-points and recovering from trauma. I have an eclectic therapeutic style, pulling from my educational background at the Ohio State University, professional trainings in strength-based and solution-focused brief therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR), and creative and expressive interventions such as art, body movement, play, and mindfulness. I specialize in the following areas: trauma, sexual violence, stress management, self-esteem, self-acceptance, LGBTQIA+ support, adjustment issues, depression and anxiety. I have been working in social services since 2010, and I have been providing therapy as a licensed clinical social worker in Ohio since 2015. I invite you to contact me at 216-200-8116 for a short phone consultation so that we can determine if I am an appropriate fit for your needs at this time. I invite you to email questions to Contact@RootedandRisingLLC.org. Would you prefer to connect to receive individual Yoga Services? Yoga is different than therapy in that I am not providing you with clinical therapy services. Instead, I utilize Yogic Philosophy and the 8 limbs of Yoga for service engagement: Yamas and Niyamas (ethics and principles for healthy living), Asanas (physical movements and poses), Pranayama (breathwork), Pratyahara (withdrawing senses, orienting), Dharana (concentration), Dhyana (meditation), and Samadhi (connection to Self; freedom; nirvana). Interested in hearing more about Yoga services? Reach out! I invite you to contact me at 216-200-8116 for a short phone consultation so that we can determine if I am an appropriate fit for your needs at this time. I invite you to email questions to Contact@RootedandRisingLLC.org
