As humans, we all have the capacity for change. At some point, we are confronted with challenging life situations and may respond in ways that do not align with our values. Part of our work in therapy can be towards examining the "why" and making positive adaptations. Healing is a restorative and evolving process. As we learn, grieve, grow, and love through life I believe some of the most deep-rooted recovery can be found within the mini-moments we experience daily. In my practice, I aim to help you meet these moments with openness, and challenge you to explore and sometimes lean into pockets of discomfort. Therapy can be used as a tool to examine difficult patterns and develop fresh perspectives over time. This work requires much vulnerability and I am here to listen and align in the direction of your own personal breakthroughs. Join me as we work together to create a grounded and inclusive space for reflection, transparency, and self-compassion as you learn to navigate the highs, lows, and unpredictability that life brings. My philosophy is rooted in self-empowerment, continued curiosity, and values work. Your past experiences do not define you as a person. In our work together, I will support you through life’s challenges and the transformative potential they present. I draw from lived experience, taking a humanistic and relational stance to foster a self-directed treatment plan. My therapeutic approach is anything but one-size-fits-all. I draw from my strengths-based and trauma-informed training while integrating spontaneity, creativity, and humor when welcomed. I recognize that successful treatment varies with an individuals unique needs, strengths, and preferences. I offer myself as a collaborative and empathic presence and genuinely believe that anyone can make deeper connections within themselves and to their surroundings. I am experienced in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. When appropriate, I will also bring the Expressive Arts into my work with clients as an unconventional bridge to tap into the Self and encourage personal development. My practice centers around working with adolescents, college students, and adults experiencing the effects of depression, anxiety, eating disorders/disordered eating, and identity issues. I am honored to connect, learn from, and witness evolution, embodiment, and positive change in my clients. All sessions are online and take place through a HIPAA-secure video platform. Sessions are typically weekly or bi-weekly. If you think we’d be a good fit, please reach out directly! I offer all potential clients a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss questions and to explore the possibility of moving forward. *A limited number of sliding scale slots are available through the Open Path platform. Please be mindful when requesting a sliding scale fee as another individual may need the gift of greater financial flexibility. *Clinical supervision is an integral part of becoming an independently licensed clinician. I also provide supervision to master’s level mental health counselors pursuing their LMHC board licensure. Please contact me directly for more information. I am licensed in the state of Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
