Introduction

Hi, my name is Amanda I am a mental health professional (LPC) currently working toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor - Mental Health (LPCMH-Supervisee). My motto is "You don't know what you don't know." In addition to my current work, I am pursuing certification through the American Association of Sexual Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). I am extremely passionate about fostering positive sexual health and sex education. I specialize in a wide range of therapeutic areas, including sex therapy, trauma recovery, and healthy relationship building. I find particular fulfillment in working with neurodivergent clients, the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, as well as those in crisis. Outside of my professional life, I am an avid reader who enjoys spending quiet time at home with family. I also embrace the time-honored pastime of "doom scrolling" social media. Finally, I am committed to empowering my clients with knowledge and support, as I strives to help them navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience.
